Gaming Addict

So the roster for MK vs DC has been announced officially.  Well actually it was announced last week but I missed it because I was too busy not caring.  Mortal Kombat hasn’t been a heavyweight for me for years now.  And everyone knows if a game is going to involve comics, Marvel is infinitely better than DC.  So here’s the roster if you’re interested:

No doubt a few more unlockable characters will be included in the game.  Or at least I would hope so, because the characters on both sides really could be better.  And seriously, is anyone clamoring to play as Lex Luthor?  In a fighting game of all things?

I’m not too happy about an MK game where fatalities probably won’t be the main attraction.  I understand DC doesn’t want Batman having his spine ripped out by Scorpion or any other such event.  But that’s what would be fun for the fans.  How much cooler would it be to play as Superman, and have him use his strength to viciously slaughter your opponent.  That’s entertainment.

Entertainment DC won’t allow.

That’s why I’m much more excited about amazing looking games like Mirror’s Edge.  Which, if you haven’t heard of Mirror’s Edge by now, you should immediatly look at every screenshot and video you can find, because it’s going to be the new greatest game ever made.  Just look:

Best game ever, when it comes out in November.  Like Breakdown, only one million times better.
