The Jin-Roh Ripoffs Are Back (AKA Killzone 2 is coming)

Well, Killzone 2 finally has a date. You remember the sequel to Playstation 2’s proposed “Halo killer” Killzone. The lacklustre PS2 shooter that combined controls that weren’t too impressive, with combat action that also wasn’t too impressive.

Well now the sequel has a date, you know, that infamous sequel that released a video before the PS3 launched that was supposed to be actual gameplay footage, despite looking 100% pre-rendered footage. And big surprise, was revealed to be a completely false gameplay trailer, only a few months later, as though no one was able to tell immediately after having seen the trailer.
Well that game is coming out February 27, 2009. So if you’re the type of person that thinks a game like Resistance is a good FPS that isn’t just a rehash of every other good FPS you’ve ever played, don’t buy Killzone 2, instead buy yourself a 360 and get all three Halo games. Because you’ve seriously been missing out.
Also I just saw the new cryptic Metal Gear Solid message released on the Kojima Productions website. And I don’t know about you, but it seems pretty obvious that this is either citing MGS4’s appearance on Xbox 360 in the future. Or a completely separate Metal Gear title being developed for the 360. But have a look for yourself and make your own opinions:

Fucking fantard, the Halo series is as generic as it gets.
riiigghhht. . .that’s why Halo is one of the biggest brands in gaming, and one of the most successful FPS titles in history, and Killzone isn’t. . .
Umh…
1. Killzone = Rippoff yes!!! 100%, rumors says that the “designer” who “made” the Models for killzone got sued and is now in jail
2. Halo is one of the greatest FPS series, yes, but halo 2 was a flop! >_> it sucked so fucking hard!!
3. yet again killzone sucks ^^
Halo is gay and you’re an idiot. The character designer for Jin-Roh also did the characters for Killzone.
okay, so one character designer gets lazy and uses the same design twice…how does that defend Killzone’s originality? Or downgrade Halo’s?
