Eduardo The Samurai Toaster

Well, WiiWare is getting an exclusive game that I can’t imagine as being good. Eduardo The Samurai Toaster. And while the title and concept sounds fairly intriguing, I’m just unimpressed with the Wii’s level of control, and the fact that there is still no Wii hard drive, I’m unlikely to waste any of my money purchasing more content that I can’t save, due to lack of memory.

But maybe when the new Wii motion controllers and a hard drive is released I could be persuaded to give the game a shot. The game features you as said Samurai Toaster in your battle against carrots, robotic mangos, and maniacal pastries. What’s odd however is that the game is a shooter, in which you have to run, jump, and shoot enemies, and friends in co-op, in the never ending carnage. But the whole shooting aspect makes me wonder what makes Eduardo a Samurai Toaster besides the hairdo? Where’s the wacky Toaster swordplay, I know shooting is easier and controlled more accurately on the Wii, but Toaster Samurai swordplay would be awesome.
13 stylized Toaster madness filled levels will be provided when the game is available for download sometime soon.

But more importantly, and more interestingly, have you seen this Resident Evil 5 gameplay vid?
I’m especially excited considering the fact that RE5 looks like maybe the ammo shortage of past games has been forgotten in favour of mad crazy zombie carnage. And I’m all for that. RE5 looks awesome, and I’m glad I pre-ordered already.
