Fable II DLC Finally

Published by slayed35440 at 11:54 am under xbox 360 hype Edit This

Fable II’s first DLC expansion, Knothole Island is finally coming. Although many of you, including me, expected this to be released before Christmas, as Lionhead had previously hinted, delays had pushed the download back, but Knothole Island will now be released on January 13th. I for one am excited, after Fable II’s horrifically bad anticlimactic ending, I hope the story is continued in some way that makes my progression through the world feel like an accomplishment.

Not to mention all the items that come with a new DLC pack, and hopefully clothing and hairstyles. And how about some demon doors that actually offer something cool and unique, instead of a stupid sword I can purchase at a Blacksmith, or a few XP potions that I could have just purchased from a potion seller. Knothole Island will retail for 800 Microsoft Points, which actually isn’t that bad, so I’m definitely on board.

Also cool and coming to Xbox Live is Kodu, which will allow you to make your own Xbox Community Games Channel style game. Kodu will offer a unique and easy approach to crafting your own game, as you will use over 200 visual game building blocks to craft your unique creation. I just hope there will be an option to upload as well as download games to Xbox Live so you can show off your creations, and try other gamers interpretations also.

Have you seen this Alan Wake trailer yet? This gives me hope that Alan Wake will finally see the light of day come the end of 2009.

Looks so good. I have a feeling my husband and I will be fighting over who gets to play first.
