EA Announces The Sims 3: World Adventures

Published by slayed35440 at 2:03 pm under PC hype Edit This

EA has announced that the first expansion for the ludicrously successful PC game The Sims 3 is currently in development, and on schedule for a release date of November 16, 2009.  In the new expansion you’ll be able to take your Sims on different adventures around various locals around the world.  From China, to Egypt and France you’ll be able to accept challenges for your Sims to find ancient artifacts, you’ll also be able to learn a plethora of new skills, and will be offered many new personal opportunities for your Sims to experience.

So basically EA is throwing a ton of new crap at you, as is to be expected in a Sims expansion pack.  Buying The Sims 3: World Adventures will also net you 1000 free Simpoints to be used online at The Sims 3 Store, which will feature exclusive content only available through the Sims online store.

EA has also revealed that there will be a mobile version of World Adventures made available for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch.  Just as The Sims 3 before it, The Sims 3: World Adventures will feature the same game in condensed format, featuring uniquely mobile features that are yet to be announced.
